One of the earlier music videos I worked on with Joe Baughman. I recall animating the painted road at 0:13 on Valentine's Day evening with Joe wondering what I was doing with my life. Never quite figured that out, but Houndmouth really exploded as a band shortly after this...
Random Notes:
- The paper cut-out animations were done on top of a plane of glass with zero effects added in post-production--just Joe and I sitting on our knees in the little area left in his brother's bedroom for hours at a time switching lamps on and off and sliding puck lights across the floor in tiny iterations.
