ANIMATOR

Questlove wanted to have a book launch trailer for his Instagram page. We had worked on promos for his previous book, so we were tapped to create this one. We were able to utilize the artist who had worked on the illustrations from the book to create new illustrations for us so we could keep with the cool vibe that was on-brand for him. It was moderately entertaining, while animating the collage at the end, to play “spot the celebrity” with the crowd. Unfortunately, it turns out I’m not very cultured so I mostly only recognized SNL alum.
